DRAMA unfolded in Highgate last night when the entrance to a polling station had to be moved because of a police operation.
At about 8pm staff at the Jacksons Lane arts centre closed the main entrance to the polling station and opened the fire exit to studio two as an alternative entrance while police officers acted in Archway Road.
The Ham&High understands that several arrests were made last night following the incident.
A spokesman for Jacksons Lane said: "Our shift officer reported that everything was dealt with calmly and that there was no disruption to the polling at the station."
