Police are appealing for information following two attacks, possibly by the same man, on women walking along the Parkland Walk.

The first attack took place at 3.40pm on Saturday, May 31 when two women, both in their sixties, were grabbed and pulled into undergrowth and robbed by a male, causing minor injuries to both the victims. The incident happened on the birdge over Stapleton Hall Road. It is believed the male made off with the victims' purse and money, towards Finsbury Park.

On Saturday June 7 at about 7.45pm two women in their 40s who were walking between Mount Pleasant Crescent and Ferme Park Road were grabbed by male, who demanded money. He struggled with one of the victims, causing her to fall and hit her head. It is believed the suspect again made off towards Finsbury Park, prompting police to believe that the same person may have committed both offences.
