Keats House found itself a little haunted last Sunday as a performance poet brought ghosts, pumpkins and witches to life through his poetry.
Families with children of all ages attended the Hallowe’en special on Sunday as part of Keats House Family Day, which runs free activities for families on the third Sunday of every month.
Joshua Seigel performed humorous poetry to children before helping them write their own poems at the workshop, while Keats Community Library held a crafts event next door.
Linda Carey, who organised the event, said: “Joshua had the children agog with his poems about different kinds of monsters. It was scary and funny at the same time – they loved it.”
