Have often fooled the wariest of eyes,
So when I thought I saw a thousand dogs
I wondered - was this one of nature's lies?

I took no chances, mumbling "Please!" and "Sir!" -
It's better not to tangle with a pup
Whose tongue is hanging down, and stock is up.
