HEALTH and safety inspectors at Camden Council are working with a chain pizza restaurant in Belsize Park following reports of rats in the street outside.
A council spokeswoman confirmed that Ask! Pizza in Haverstock Hill had been given relevant information and advice on rodent eradication, and that council staff are working with them to review their refuse storage and collection arrangements.
However, following an inspection no rats were found inside the premises and it was considered there were no significant risks to food safety.
A spokeswoman for Ask! said: "This is the first we've heard of it. All we received is a general letter that was sent to all of the businesses that back onto the service lane there.

Inspectors are due to visit the restaurant again next week.
