PILATES will be taught in Hampstead on Tuesday (October 12) in a bid to raise money for cancer sufferers and their families.

Instructor Alison Swan was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and is aiming to teach as many people pilates as she can in a single day as possible.

The sessions are free and participants are only asked to make a donation towards the Cancerkin Centre based at the Royal Free Hospital.

To attend one of the group classes visit the Royal Free Recreation Club on Fleet Road between 10am and 5pm.
