The charity celebrated a record-breaking fundraising year for their annual Bark Off, with comedian and patron Alan Carr as chief judge.

Charity All Dogs Matter welcomed around 300 dogs to its biggest ever Hampstead Heath Bark Off in the sun on Sunday.

Patron Alan Carr, who judged Best Rescue dog, has two rescue dogs from All Dogs Matter, a Staffy Cross and a Jack Russell.

Around half the dogs competing on the day had found happy homes through the charity.

There were around 40 dogs competing in each category, including Cutest Pup, won by Monty the Schnauzer, Golden Oldie, won by Pippa the Collie Cross, and Mandy the Collie cross from Bosnia for Best Rescue Dog.

Charity Friend Michelle Collins judged the Cutest Pup, along with judges Peter Egan and Kevin O’Sullivan and TV vet Marc Abraham.

Michelle Collins and Alan Carr chatted to the crowds before heading off to the BAFTAs.

The charity had a best Child Handler category for the first time, with Elf the Yorkie paraded by Honey-Rose and Daisy.

All Dogs Matter raised £2,000 and will hopefully find homes for a few of their rescue dogs.

Manager Ira Moss said: “It was a really good day, a really nice atmosphere, the biggest Bark Off yet.”
