Thousands more Londoners flocked to Hampstead Heath at the weekend to enjoy the prolonged heatwave, now in its third week.
Sunbathers soaked up rays in the long grass while kids and grown-ups played gentle games of cricket to avoid getting too sweaty.
In soaring temperatures, many chose to keep to the shade, sitting on benches beneath the Heath’s trees and finding cool spots in the park.
Photos taken at the weekend show how much the park’s cygnets have grown, their proud mothers still swimming close by.
The Heath looked glorious in the sunshine, with many visitors simply sitting down and enjoying the stunning vistas.
