I don't think I'm the only one who believes erstwhile councillor Philip Thompson was doing more to save Little Green Street, even from Arizona, than many of the officials in the town hall have.
Residents and users of one of London's oldest and smallest streets still don't know if our children will need permission to go out from a developer's lackey wearing a fluorescent jacket for the next four years.
At least Philip tried to find out for us and argued against the madness.
