Pensioner rescued from Camden Town flat blaze

An elderly woman was rescued from a blaze at her flat in Camden Town.

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were at the scene in Lewis Street for over an hour battling to bring the fire under control.
A spokesman from the London Fire Brigade said half of the ground floor flat was damaged.
Officers were investigating the cause of the blaze which broke out at around 1.20pm.
