Rail passengers who use West Hampstead Thameslink are saved a walk to the shops or the Overground as Oyster cards are now on sale.
Cards were made available at the national rail station in Iverson Road, which won a national design award in April, in response to requests from the West Hampstead Amenity and Transport Group (WHAT).
The station, built in 2011, was commended for its forward-looking design and community benefits by judges at the Civic Trust Awards, one of the oldest built environment award schemes in Europe.
Travellers who use the First Capital Connect Thameslink route can still top up their cards at the station.
