Young film-makers were treated to some expert feedback on their work thanks to a special visit from an Oscar-nominated actress.
Sarah Miles, who received a best actress Oscar nomination for 1970 film Ryan’s Daughter, visited University College School (UCS) last week to judge films made by pupils.
Year 6 boys at the school, in Holly Hill, Hampstead, wrote, directed and produced short films which they also acted in for an annual film competition, this year judged by Ms Miles.
The 71-year-old actress awarded a number of winning groups trophies for their entries into the competition, which had a ghost stories theme.
She also spoke about her new children’s book, Boy and the Beez.
