Hampstead Underground station was closed this morning after a passenger fell ill.
Northern Line trains did not stop at Hampstead station while the passenger was treated on the platform. A London Ambulance Spokeswoman said: “We were called at 8:17am to Hampstead Underground Station to report of an unwell person.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a single responder in a car to the scene. We treated a person at the scene and took them to a hospital in North London.”
Local Councillor Oliver Cooper tweeted that emergency services were on the scene.
Meanwhile, elsewhere on the tube, reports of a tresspasser on the tracks at Mile End caused severe delays on the entire District Line, Hammersmith & City Line and Circle and Central lines.
