STRUGGLING Spurs have been handed a tough-looking UEFA Cup draw after being pitted against Spartak Moscow, Udinese, NEC Nijmegen and Dinamo Zagreb in today's Group D, writes Patrick Mooney.

It means that Luka Modric will come against his former club in Croatian champions Zagreb but Vedran Corluka is ineligible, having played for Manchester City earlier in the competition. And striker Roman Pavlyuchenko will be unable to face his former club Spartak Moscow as he is also cup tied.

Tottenham, rock bottom of the Premier League after Sunday's 1-0 defeat against Hull City, will play each team once in the group with the top three of five progressing to the knockout stages. See this week's Ham&High Sport for full details.
