Nightclub owner in court on child porn charges

A NIGHTCLUB owner from Highgate has appeared in court accused of keeping 1,300 pornographic images of children on his laptop computer. Malaysian businessman Christian Singham, 47, of Milton Park, faces 32 charges of making or possessing indecent images.

Malaysian businessman Christian Singham, 47, of Milton Park, faces 32 charges of making or possessing indecent images.

He has been in custody since he was charged on July 23, but was granted conditional bail at City of Westminster Magistrates court on Friday.

Singham, who owns a number of nightspots in Inverness Street, Camden Town, will face another hearing on September 18.
