Bendtner, who scored his first goal since returning from a three-month absence against Sunderland last week, says the Gunners must not take anything for granted: "They are difficult games," he said. "It's not like it used to be maybe. All the teams now are quite difficult to play.

"It's difficult obviously being out, despite whoever else is out. It's difficult. Coming back for me was really important."

And he is adamant he and his colleagues have what it takes to win the title.

"Of course we believe," he said. "We believed at the start of the season and we still believe it now, and until the end of the season we'll fight every minute of the way.
