Broadcaster Nicholas Parsons shared tales from his nearly 50 years at the helm of one of radio’s most popular shows.

The voice of Radio 4’s Just a Minute – who has been presenting the show since it launched in 1967 – gave a talk at Waterstones in Hampstead High Street, Hampstead, on Wednesday of last week.

He regaled dozens of fans with stories about the making of Just a Minute and its stars, from Kenneth Williams to Paul Merton, before signing copies of his new book, Welcome to Just a Minute.
