AN UNEMPLOYED man has been charged with the murder of a transsexual escort girl in Kentish Town.
Destiny Lauren, 29, of Leighton Crescent, was found collapsed in her flat at around 1am on Thursday November 5.
Ms Lauren, who police confirmed was a sex worker, was rushed to the Royal Free hospital but after doctors were unable to revive her she was pronounced dead.
Initial post mortem tests suggested she had died of 'compression of the neck'.
On Monday, Leon Fyle, of Laleham Road, Catford, appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court charged with Ms Lauren's murder.
Previously a 35-year-old man was arrested in connection with the investigation. He has been bailed to return on a date in December pending further enquiries.
