A HIGHGATE businessman and one-time music mogul has been appointed to Southbank Centre's board of governors.
Former MTV president Brent Hansen (pictured) took up his post last month as a governor of the arts centre, which presents a wide range of music in addition to literature and the visual arts.
Chairman of the board Rick Haythornthwaite said: "I am delighted to announce these appointments and welcome Brent Hansen to the board.
"He is arriving at a time when the organisation is continuing to build on the success of the critically acclaimed reopening of the Royal Festival Hall and re-launch of the site last year.
