A PRIMROSE Hill "knight" clearly took the old adage that an Englishman's home is his castle to heart by acquiring a string of expensive homes despite claiming a council flat at the same time.
Sir Barry Brooks, who bought his knighthood off the internet when he was a student, moved into the disability adapted two-bedroom Gloucester Avenue flat in 1998, having lied to Camden Council that he was homeless.
He was ordered to pay rent arrears of 3,180 and costs of 9,500.
