After all we do seem to exceed our quota of odd happenings by quite some distance. Following the sudden arrival of 'Arry the win over Bolton was a welcome relief, but the week that followed was utterly daft.

The Ramos Revolution may have fizzled out sometime in March, but the Redknapp Resurrection has come in with a bang to take over.

The weather on Saturday evening may have been atrocious, but it doesn't seem as if it would have mattered how deep the puddles may have got because our new boss would have merrily strolled across the top of them without a care in the world.

Okay, that may be getting a bit carried away, and Harry's first week may owe more than a bit to some better fortune than his predecessor enjoyed.

But having spent the season so far as the butt of so many jokes it was wonderful to be the ones laughing with not one but two unlikely results nicked at the death.
