Comedians Michael Palin and Terry Jones are set to reunite with their Monty Python chums for the comedy group’s first new project in 30 years.

Gospel Oak resident Mr Palin, 70, and Mr Jones, 71, who lives in Highgate, are set to join fellow surviving Python members John Cleese, Terry Gilliam and Eric Idle at a press conference in London to reveal their plans on Thursday.

A Monty Python spokesman kept tight-lipped on what form the reunion would take, and whether they would perform live, in a TV special or film.

He said: “A press conference is set for Thursday where the Pythons themselves will be unveiling their plans to work together again.”
