AN assault in Crouch End last night left two men with head and facial injuries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the attack, which took place on Tuesday at 11pm on Park Road, near its junction with New Road, to come forward.
Police found a 47-year-old man with a possible head injury and his friend, a 46-year-old man, with a small cut to his eye.
A police spokeswoman said it is believed the men had just left a nearby bar and were walking down the road when they were attack by a black man, aged around 30 years old.
The man punched the first man in the face, causing him to fall to the floor, and tried to hit his friend, causing a small cut to his eye.
Investigating officer for Haringey CID DS Ben Hobbs said it is possible the men were followed from a bar and therefore appealed to anyone that was in Kiss the Skye or the surrounding area that night to contact him on 020 8345 0712
