Arsene Wenger promised Arsenal will go "from strength to strength" for the remainder of the season after their most emphatic home win for 18 months.
"We have been waiting for goals for a long time... I believe we have more creative talent and the game is more fluid. Our football is coming back which I think is down to psychological reasons," said Wenger.

"We're on a long and consistent run - that's why I believe we can go from strength to strength from now until the end of the season."
New signing Andrei Arshavin sparkled as the Gunners finally found their goalscoring touch in the league to leapfrog Aston Villa in fourth place.
The Villans' 1-2 home loss to Tottenham on Sunday added to the optimism with Arsenal, targeting a top four finish, knowing their destiny is now in their own hands.
Arshavin pressured Andre Ooijer into heading into his own net after just 75 seconds - ending a run of three home league games without a goal - and then added a second after the break when he fired past Paul Robinson from an acute angle.
Substitute Emmanuel Eboue made it three when he tucked home the rebound after Robinson parried Arshavin's fierce drive into his path, before completing the rout in injury time from the spot after Carlos Vela was fouled by Marton Olsson.
Arsenal could have scored but for some poor finishing with Nicklas Bendtner again the chief culprit, missing two gilt-edged chances.
Wenger defended the Dane - and called on the Emirates crowd to give him time: "He understands the game and he's only 20 years old, people forget that. I think it completely wrong to boo him.
"I am pleased with his overall contribution. He didn't finish well but he played well."
