A 92-year old Belsize Park woman who suffers from osteoporosis and has previously been wheelchair-bound has completed a two-mile walk for charity.
Marianne Hohenberg, of Antrim Road, stepped out for the walk last Saturday to raise money for Access to Art, a charity which helps the elderly and disabled go to museums and other cultural venues.
The walk took place between Tate Modern and Tate Britain galleries down at the Thames, and took Ms Hohenberg one and a half hours in the pouring rain.
She said: "It is absolutely exciting that I finished it. I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to do it and no- one has believed me since that I did.
