A 24-year-old man broke his leg in a crash with a lorry in West Hampstead last night (Tuesday, January 22).
The young man had been strolling along Broadhurst Gardens when there was a collision with a lorry at around 6.30pm.
Although it was first feared his leg would have to be amputated, police said his injury was not life-changing.
The man, from Neasden, was rushed to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead as a priority.
No arrests have been made.
