A man found dead by a dog walker on Hampstead Heath has today been identified.
He was John Poile, 49, who lived in Holloway. His next of kin have been informed.
His body was discovered last Thursday in a bush between the mixed bathing ponds and Parliament Hill at about 2.30pm.
The death is not being treated as suspicious by police.
An inquest was opened and adjourned at St Pancras Coroner’s Court today.
