A man threw rocks and bricks at vehicles and spent nearly four hours on the roof of a building in Hampstead.
Police were called to Mackeson Road, at the junction of Agincourt Road, at around 5.30am on Saturday (September 30) following reports a person was shouting and knocking on doors.
When officers arrived, they found a 30 year old man on a roof. He then began threatening the police with rocks.
The London fire brigade were called to help get the man down safely and he eventually came down just after 9am.
He was detained under the Mental Health Act.
