A MAN has been arrested in connection with a series of attempted rapes around the King's Cross area.
Samson Bello, 22, was detained by police on Thursday April 9. On Saturday, he appeared at Brent Magistrates' Court charged with two counts of attempted rape, four counts of kidnap with intent to rape and two counts of intent to commit a sexual assault.
Bello, of Beatty Road, Stoke Newington, was remanded in custody to appear at Southwark Crown Court on June 12.
Police had appealed for information from the public after a spate of reported incidents on Sunday March 29 and Monday March 31.
