Children were whisked off to Neverland to act out the adventures of Peter Pan at a summer holiday drama course.

Youngsters rehearsed for just four days before performing a musical production of J.M. Barrie’s classic children’s tale to family and friends today at the United Reformed Church, Pond Square, Highgate.

The course for children aged four to eight was run by Islington-based drama school Perform, which also offered the Peter Pan workshops at The Hall Senior School, in Crossfield Road, Hampstead and Hampstead Garden Suburb Free Church, in Central Square, Hampstead Garden Suburb last week.

Perform’s education and PR co-ordinator Sarah Lakin said: “It’s so interesting to see how well they progress from Monday to Friday.”
