London Zoo’s penguins saw the Paralympic Torch as it stopped outside their enclosure during the 24-hour relay.
A group of torchbearers carried the Flame into the Zoo and posed for photographs while penguins swam in the pool behind them.
The Torch has visited a number of London landmarks so far today, including the Abbey Road crossing, and Lord’s Cricket Ground, where it was carried by a group of cricketers who compete in the UK’s first blind women’s cricket team.
Later today the Torch will be taken to Tower Bridge, Whitehall and Canary Wharf before heading to the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, where it will arrive during the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games.
