A new poll commissioned by Conservative peer Lord Michael Ashcroft shows the Labour Party in Hampstead and Kilburn currently has a commanding lead ahead of next year’s general election.
The poll’s findings were released last week and showed 48 per cent of constituents who took part in the survey intended to vote for Labour’s Tulip Siddiq, ahead of Tory candidate Cllr Simon Marcus with 30 per cent of the vote.
Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate Maajid Nawaz shared 10 per cent of the vote, while the Greens (six per cent), Ukip (three per cent) and “other” parties made up the remaining 11 per cent of votes.
