Labour chiefs have agreed to freeze council tax for the next two years.
If the plans, drawn up last week, are approved by Camden Council, council tax will have been frozen throughout the party’s four-year term in office.
The council’s finance boss, Cllr Theo Blackwell, said: “Signalling our intention to freeze council tax now [helps] residents set their household budgets. We’re continuing to invest in the things that matter to hard-pressed residents.”
