Lib Dem councillor Janet Grauberg complains about being steamrollered by uncaring corporate chains like Tesco but she is part of the Executive which has approved plans to raise £500,000 by flooding our parks with tacky advertising and noisy corporate events.
These proposals have been developed with wholly inadequate consultation. I for one don't want to see my local park, Kilburn Grange, spoiled by adverts for fast-food restaurants (or supermarkets (Tesco, perhaps?).
The council is prioritising income generation at the expense of Camden residents' quiet enjoyment of our green spaces.
