The face behind Madame Thenardier for seven years in the West End’s Les Miserables treated budding thespians to a workshop at a Primrose Hill theatre group.

Mandy Holliday, who also appeared in the recent film with Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe, hosted three exhausting Razzamataz Theatre School workshops, at St Paul’s Primary School in Elsworthy Road, on Friday evening.

And with the children, aged six to 16, eager to show off their performing talents following the start of the new X Factor series, enthusiasm was not in short supply.
