The former Arsenal goalkeeper, 39, had wanted to make a final appearance for the Nationalmanshaft when England visit Berlin on November 19. But Germany coach Joachim Loew refused as he wants to blood new goalkeepers. Lehmann moved to VfB Stuttgart in the summer.
