Lord Mandelson was the latest Labour figure to put his objection to Ed Miliband’s flagship policy to save the NHS on record this week.
Tony Blair’s former secretary of state for northern Ireland has been widely quoted dismissing the mansion tax as “crude”.
It’s a sentiment already aired in the Ham&High by Lord Bragg, who slammed the proposed new tax on all homes worth £2million-plus as a “very crude weapon” in October.
