Stan Kroenke has increased his stake in Arsenal again, according to the club.
The US sports tycoon has upped his holding to 28.7 per cent after buying a further 80 for �8,500 a share.
If he reaches 29.9 per cent he would be forced to make an offer for the remaining shares.
In a statement to the Stock Exchange, Arsenal Holdings PLC said it had received notification that he had acquired increased his stake to 17,867 ordinary shares.
