Jazz music, an art exhibition and raffle prizes drew almost 100 visitors to the Hampstead School of Art (HSoA) music evening on Sunday as part of a £1million fundraising drive.
The evening was kicked off by The Reuben James trio jazz group with New Yorker Jean Toussain a special guest on tenor sax.
The evening was held to raise funds for the school’s new home, at the centre of a new residential community in Kidderpore Avenue, built by Barratt Homes.
With portrait sittings, sculptures and art supplies also raffled off, the evening raised £3,000.
Isabel Langtry, principal of HSoA, said: “It was a fantastic success and a great step towards raising the money we need.”
