ITALIAN tenor Neil Simon will sing at the opening of a community garden in Highgate on Saturday.
The open space at the back of Highgate Library in Shepherds Hill has been transformed from a derelict area into a beautiful green garden.
A campaign to raise £3,000 for more top soil, manure, compost and plants is being run by the Highgate Library Action Group.
Antipasti, tea and cakes, children's entertainment and poetry will be included at the garden party which begins at 4.30pm.
