A LEADING London gardener is to give a talk in Highgate about his work.

Stephen Crisp, head gardener for the US Ambassador in Winfield House, Regent's Park, will give an illustrated lecture at the Park Centre, Waterlow Park, on Tuesday.

Winfield House is one of Britain's largest private gardens and Mr Crisp has worked there for 20 years. His talk coincides with the publication of a new book on the house and gardens.

The free event starts at 7pm, and entry is through the park gate near St Joseph's Church.
