Arsenal are expecting a bumper Emirates crowd for the Carling Cup visit of Championship side Sheffield United on Tuesday night.

Ticket prices have been slashed, in agreement with the Blades, to ensure a near-capacity crowd. Admission starts at as little as £5 for concessions. This is one of the first fixtures at the new stadium in which tickets have gone on sale to the general public and is a golden opportunity to grab a rare ticket.

The Gunners, as has been Arsene Wenger's policy in recent seasons, will field a mix of first team players and young prospects on Tuesday evening.

But this does not necessarily mean quality or entertainment will be compromised.

In past years some of the Gunners most exciting matches have come in this competition.
