Three huge metal dinosaurs have a new home on Hampstead Heath after a public unveiling on Tuesday.

Designed by famed artists Jake and Dinos Chapman, the sculptures are the largest display of public art on the Heath since Giancario Neri’s towering table and chair, The Writer, on Parliament Hill in 2005.

Produced in 2007, they previously stood outside the Gherkin building in the City of London as part of annual public art exhibition Sculpture in the City.

Their new home is now in Golders Hill Park next to its water gardens.

Attending the unveiling, Jake Chapman said: “They look the best they’ve ever looked.”
