The only pub in Highgate to brew its own beer in-house has made it into the Good Beer Guide for the first time in its history.

The Bull in North Hill, Highgate, became the fourth Highgate pub to be listed in the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) 2014 Good Beer Guide, joining The Gatehouse, The Red Lion and Sun and The Prince of Wales.

The news came at the north London launch of the beer guide at The Bull last week.

The guide suggests the best pubs to go to for a pint of real ale.

The Bull is the only brewpub in Highgate and has been brewing its own beer for two years at the back of the pub, under the London Brewing Company trademark.
