Six months of a Highgate artist’s work will go on show over the weekend in an art extravaganza.
The Chocolate Factory Open Studios event will feature work from 75 artists and 25 craftsmen, with Ursula Kellet’s seven paintings and three totem polls among the items for sale. New pieces can also be commissioned straight from the artists.
The painter, whose work centres around contrasting natural and artificial materials, said: “There will be work on display from established artists and those who have just come out of college.”
Other Highgate artists Tim Benson, Judith Farlie, Sharda Mehta and Brian Palmer will also have their work on show at the Clarendon Road studios in Wood Green. The free event will open tomorrow (Friday) from 3-9pm and is also open on Saturday and Sunday 12 noon-6pm.
