A COURAGEOUS couple in Highgate refused to bow to a robber's demands because they believed the gun he was holding was not real.
The man and woman, both aged 30, were walking along Dartmouth Park Hill when they were approached by a man wanting their money.
The robber pulled out a weapon and demanded the couple move off the main road into an alley. But the pair were having none of it, believing the gun in his hand was a fake.
They bravely refused to move into the alley or hand over their possessions. The furious attacker reacted by hitting the man on the head with the imitation firearm, leaving him with a cut to the forehead, but both victims were able to run away.
The suspect is a white man, aged around 20-years-old and 6ft tall with short brown hair.
No arrests have been made and Camden police are investigating the incident which took place last Friday night at 11pm. Anyone with information should contact the police on 020-7404 1212.
