Highgate Bridge Club played as an ace card as they raised money for cancer at their annual charity tea event.
The tea took place at the club in Sheldon Avenue, Highgate, on October 16.
The 56 members who attended were able to raise 1,300 for Macmillian Cancer Support, which helps cancer patients live full, productive lives through physical, emotional and financial support.
Once a year the bridge club hosts this tea event and the chairwoman has the honour of choosing the worthy charity.
“The tea was a great success,” says Rona Kolvin, club chairwoman. “Everyone enjoyed themselves.”
