Moped-riding burglars have broken into four homes Highgate and Muswell Hill in just three days, triggering police calls for greater vigilance.
Brazen thieves carried out the spate of break-ins between March 7 and 9, targeting the homes in the early evening, before many people get back from work.
Police have upped patrols in the area, and said they are keeping an open mind as to whether the burglaries are linked.
Detective Superintendent Stephen Clayman, of Haringey CID, urged people to stay vigilant, report anyone acting suspiciously and note down their licence plate number.
Anyone who may have information about these offences should contact Haringey Burglary Squad on 020 8345 0889 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
