Camden could face widespread rent strikes following a reluctant decision to increase rents by an average of 25 per cent, as required by the Tory government.

The Round House in Chalk Farm Road has applied for permission to site 14 stalls outside its front entrance as a weekend market, although the council has already ordered it to remove existing stalls.
