A Golders Green mother, who is desperate to find out the truth of how her son died has been left frustrated after a pre-inquest hearing was postponed.

The hearing into the death of 22-year-old student Jeremiah Duggan, whose body was found on a German motorway in 2003, was due to take place on Thursday September 16.

Coroner Andrew Walker was due to hear how the Met’s police investigation into Jeremiah’s death was progressing before a date for an inquest was set.

But detectives at Scotland Yard have yet to make any headway in their probe because of other ongoing murder enquiries.

Jeremiah’s mother Erica said: “I cannot express how upset I am to have received the information that the hearing is cancelled.”
